Bird-watching was the hobby that we started with, which eventually turned into a passion of going into the wild, looking to capture different forms of wildlife in their natural habitats.
One of our key motives with respect to starting this blog is to create awareness about the huge variety of wildlife that exists around us , right from the Majestic Bengal Tiger & Glorious Himalayan Monal to the Tiny Dancing Frogs!

As for bird-watching in an around Pune, Sinhagad and ARAI are good places to explore; however the no. of birds will be less since migratory birds must have gone back.
Hii rudraksh…if u don’t mind…i want company for birding in saswad. I didn’t know u had written quite a number of blogs. I just saw this blog & so I replied here itself & not on fb.
Thanks for writing in. You can post on Birds of Pune fb group to see if anyone is going to visit Saswad for birding. Best time to visit Saswad will be in month of Jan to march though, as you can sight many of the migratory raptors.
For our trips into wildlife, do check http://www.wild-india.in. Thanks.
