This saturday (03rd June 2018), we were off to Veer Dam. With pre-monsoon showers in last two days, the Nira river banks was a little damp and bird activity was okayish but we did get some really good opportunities to make images of common birds. Wooly-necked Storks, Barred Buttonquails, Brown Crake & a pair of Oriental Pratincoles were the highlights with 40+ bird species in total. Read more

Birding in Himalayas was very high on our list; and we finally managed to visit Chopta – Uttarakhand this summer. Hampi – Temples, Monuments, Ruins & Wildlife
Winter season being the best times for exploring birds and wildlife, we some how managed to pull off the 1st weekend this February and plan a quick 3 day trip to Hampi. Weekend Birding @ Bhigwan & Veer dam
A weekend getaway to Bhigwan & Veer dam – this tour with Wild India Eco Tours was the 1st of 2016. Bird-watching in Goa – Ghats, Mangroves & Wetlands!
This was probably the most awaited bird-watching trip of 2015 with Wild India Eco Tours; a full 3 day bird-watching in the Goa. Bird-watching at Akshi – Day trip from Pune
The winter has arrived and so have the migratory birds. A quick bird-watching excursion to Akshi beach resulted in observing some lovely bird species which included four lifers – Great Knots, Bar-tailed Godwit, Dunlin and Caspian Gulls. Some other key highlights were the Terek & Curlew Sandpipers, Whimbrel, Whiskered Terns and Ruddy Turnstones. Read more
